Most tools let you decide who is in a channel. Teamline also lets you decide where they can open it and when it exists at all.
ACL-based channels
Give a channel an IP allowlist and it disappears from every network you did not list. Rules take CIDR ranges, IPv4 and IPv6, and there is no admin bypass — owners are held to the allowlist exactly like everyone else, so a restricted channel is genuinely invisible off-network.

Active Hours
Schedule when a channel is visible at all. Outside its window it is not listed, not readable and not writable — the shift channel closes when the shift ends. Windows can run overnight, and owners and admins keep access for moderation.

One company, one boundary
Every row in the database carries the company that owns it, and every query is scoped by it. A cross-company isolation suite runs against a real database to keep it that way.
Private means private
Membership in a private channel is checked before any message, file or attachment is served — knowing the channel id gets you a 404, not a transcript.
Verified work email
A new workspace has to confirm its work address within 24 hours. Free-mail domains are refused, so a company account belongs to the company.
